Code of Conduct

The AI Saturday Academy is a safe, respectful, and inclusive space. Every student, volunteer, panelist, judge, sponsor rep, and staff member agrees to the following before the event begins.

• Treat every participant with respect. No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
• Two-adult rule at all times. No adult volunteer is ever alone with a student.
• No private communication between volunteers and students — before, during, or after the event.
• All volunteers pass a background check before event day.
• Photography is opt-in only. Students without a signed media release are never photographed or filmed.
• Use AI tools honestly and responsibly. Verify facts, credit sources, respect terms of service.
• Report anything that feels wrong to any staff member immediately, or email jamiancpolk@gmail.com.

Signed acknowledgment of this code is part of the consent packet for families and the volunteer prep-call agreement.
